Personal tutoring that leads to confidence

If you have dropped out of school--for any reason--and now want to get back to learning, LaunchPoint Academy is here for you.At LaunchPoint, we offer personal tutoring without judgment. It doesn't matter how far behind you are. We help kids from ages 13 to 21 to review--or learn for the first time--math, English and other subjects, from the 3rd grade level on up. (You might be surprised how quickly you can catch up once you get in the groove!)

Whether your goal is to go to college, learn a trade, start a business or join the military, we can help you to learn what you need to know and to meet whatever requirements you have to pursue that path.We can also help you to explore your possible pathways.

Opportunities for paid work and community service

Students who attend LaunchPoint on a regular basis have access to limited opportunities for paid work through supporting business. Current students have learned and been paid in these jobs: cleaning, painting, framing, drywall, computer programming, cleanup, moving and more.

In addition, LaunchPoint students may periodically participate in community service and ministry projects through partner churches and organizations.

Spiritual, mental and physical development

Our bodies are gifts from God—worthy of care, strength, and gratitude. At LPA, we serve fresh, nutritious breakfast and lunches each day.In addition, we incorporate exercise into our daily rhythm. Thanks to the cooperation with the West Area Athletic and Education Center (Ray Rinaldi's boxing gym), we are able to make use of the gym during the day. Students can also participate in boxing classes after school.
